Pediatric Feeding Therapy in Occupational Therapy

Pediatric feeding therapy helps children develop healthy, positive, and comfortable relationships with food through play-based, supportive interventions. Occupational therapists work with children who may experience picky eating, sensory sensitivities, oral motor challenges, difficulty trying new foods, mealtime routine difficulties, or anxiety around eating. Therapy focuses on building confidence, increasing comfort and independence during meals, and creating positive mealtime experiences for both children and families through engaging, child-centered activities.
